Automotive Technology

Vehicle repair and maintenance. Applies engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers and other professionals who develop, manufacture, and test self-propelled ground vehicles and their systems, covering vehicular systems technology, design and development testing, inspection and maintenance procedures, instrument calibration, and test equipment operation.

Carpentry Trade

Wood construction and finishing. Prepares students to lay out, cut, fabricate, erect, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures with hand and power tools, covering framing, foundations and roughing-in, finish carpentry, construction materials and selection, blueprint reading, job estimating, technical mathematics, and applicable codes and standards.

Diesel Technology

Covers the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and heavy-duty vehicles including trucks, buses, and construction equipment. Students earn hands-on training with engine analyzers, scan tools, and manufacturer-specific systems. Graduates work as diesel mechanics and heavy equipment technicians at trucking companies, dealerships, and fleet operations.

Electrical Trade

Electrical installation and repair. Applies technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric apparatus and systems - residential, commercial, and industrial power wiring, motors, controls, and distribution panels. Coursework covers electrical and electronic principles, wiring, power transmission, safety, testing and inspection, and applicable codes and standards.

Elevator Technology

Prepares students to install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways in commercial and residential buildings. Students study electrical systems, hydraulics, safety codes, and blueprint reading through apprenticeship-aligned coursework. Graduates work as elevator installers and repairers, one of the highest-paid skilled trades in the construction industry.

HVAC Technology

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technology - training technicians to install, service, repair, and maintain heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Covers diagnostic techniques, the use of testing equipment, and the principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics as they apply to system repair.
