Marriage & Family Therapy

Prepares students to assess and treat relational and mental health issues within the context of couples, families, and interpersonal systems. Students study systems theory, evidence-based therapeutic models, family development, and clinical ethics. Graduates earn licensure as MFTs and work in private practice, community mental health centers, hospitals, and schools.

Mental Health Counseling

Mental health therapy and counseling. Prepares students to provide evaluations, referrals, and short-term counseling that help people prevent or work through personal problems, conflicts, and emotional crises, with coursework in human development, psychopathology, individual and group counseling, screening and referral, interviewing, and professional standards.

Psychology

Human behavior and mental health - the scientific study of individual and collective behavior, its physical and environmental bases, and the analysis and treatment of behavioral problems and disorders. Coursework introduces the major subfields of psychology along with research methods and psychological assessment and testing.

Public Policy

Examines the design, analysis, and evaluation of government programs and regulations across areas including healthcare, education, housing, criminal justice, and economic development. Students develop skills in policy research, cost-benefit analysis, stakeholder engagement, and legislative process. Graduates work as policy analysts, government affairs specialists, and program evaluators at think tanks, agencies, and nonprofits.
