Food Science

Applies chemistry, biology, and engineering principles to the study of food composition, safety, processing, preservation, and sensory properties. Graduates work in food manufacturing, regulatory agencies, quality assurance, and research and development at consumer packaged goods companies.

Geology

Studies the composition, structure, and history of the Earth including rocks, minerals, plate tectonics, volcanic activity, and geological hazards. Students conduct field mapping, laboratory analysis, and geospatial data interpretation. Graduates pursue careers in mining, oil and gas, environmental consulting, natural hazard assessment, and academic research.
